DCDD met the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lambert Grijns in November 2016. Although there is attention for inclusion of people with disabilities in Dutch SRHR policies, challenges at implementation level are paramount. Given the specific situation of people with disabilities and the obstacles they face in accessing information and services, specific attention and measures are required to include them in SRHR. That’s why DCDD wrote a report with recommendations for the Ministry. It was handed over to Lambert Grijns, with representatives of DCDD, Light for the World Netherlands and Ethiopia, NLR Indonesia and MCNV.
