Launch of the Disability Inclusive Development study

We’re very happy to announce that Anika Altaf from The Broker will be doing a study on disability inclusion this summer. Anika has recently completed her PhD on how to reach people who live in extreme poverty with poverty-alleviation initiatives. In the new study she’s embarking on this summer, she will explore how well the Dutch development sector is doing with regard to the inclusion of persons with disabilities. Which steps have been taken already to implement the principle of ‘Leave No One Behind’ and Article 32 of the Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities? Which steps still need to be taken? And which inspiring examples help to enhance inclusiveness?

The study will be presented in the form of a booklet on the Partos Innovation Festival, on October 11th. We hope to see you there!
