Nagammal was found by The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) team in 2015 during some of the worst flooding South India has ever experienced. After reconstructive surgery, Nagammal can cook, clean and dress herself without help. She is independent again!
Binta lost her hands and feet because of leprosy. However, thanks to start-up funds from TLM Nigeria, she has been able to start a successful sheep rearing business.
