Stichting Impaction
Impaction, founded in 2019, supports local organizations in DR Congo that strengthen the self-reliance and quality of life of vulnerable groups in society and the public health system to integrate Community Based Rehabilitation in its health package. The role of Stichting Impaction is to strengthen the capacity of local organisation in East-Congo and to connect them with philanthropic funds in the Netherlands that invest in this 4 year program. After 4 years the program and activities will continue without external funding through the local structures.
Since 2019, Impaction has been working with the Congolese organization ADED in Uvira and Goma, and with Ajepad in Baraka, Eastern Congo, to improve the lives of around 2500 families who have a child with a disability. The program is called Tunafasi: “we all have a place”.
Missie:
To improve the lives of children with a disability and their families by creating exemplary programs in East Congo.
Handicap expertise:
We are experts in implementing and integrating CBR in local community structures with our partners in East Congo. We have experience in supporting local organisations with this sustainable approach.
