Enablement

Enablement, established in 1999 in The Netherlands, is a not-for-profit company with a broad network of associates, who form an international team of committed disability and rehabilitation professionals from various academic fields. Enablement offers training, research and development/innovation in Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) and Disability Inclusive Development (DID).

Mission: 

We believe that CBR/CBID as a strategy for inclusion can only be effectively developed and implemented when field workers are trained to be agents of change, networkers and creative problem solvers. We enhance reflective reasoning as the core learning principle in building capacity. We try to contribute to innovation of educational approaches, tools and materials for anyone involved in CBR/CBID from grassroots to top management level.
